Our Tailored Safeguarding Strategy

Recognising the unique challenges for children with social, emotional, and mental health needs, our safeguarding strategy covers critical areas:

  • Online safety

  • Mental health support

  • Exploitation risks (including county lines)

  • Domestic abuse

  • Homelessness

  • Harmful influences

We train all staff, from support to non-teaching roles, to identify and effectively respond to safeguarding concerns, especially those impacting our local community.

Safeguarding Objectives

  • Empower staff to recognise and report concerns.

  • Foster seamless internal communication.

  • Follow clear procedures for child protection.

Through collaboration with families and external agencies via frameworks like CAF and TAC, we ensure coordinated and timely support for those who need it most.
